Carol Bates Hutchinson resides in Ohio with her husband and family. She has 2 daughters, Katie and Julie who inspired her to write her first children’s book, Tooth Fairy Castles. As children, they came to ask the question of where does the tooth go Mom? Carol gave them an answer that would many years later develop into a new and different fairytale. Carol has always enjoyed writing poetry and song writing as well. She has worked as a medical secretary and volunteered at the schools where her children attended. She loves spending time with her first grandchild, family and friends. She enjoys going to broadway plays, concerts, hiking, reading, gardening and walks on the beach. She loves to travel to historical sites and places of beauty that nature has to offer, particularly anywhere with mountains. She traveled extensively out west by train when her children were young.
